Venue Hire

Covering over 2000m², The Space provides an environment suited to both professionals and students. There are four unique audience spaces:

The Pamoja Hall: This superb, raked auditorium seats 410, with a stage big enough for an 80-piece orchestra. The stage also offers raked choir stalls for a 100 strong choir. It boasts a world-class acoustic that can be adjusted to suit different genres of music. The Pamoja Hall is equipped with AV and drop down screen suitable for film viewing and lectures.

The Recital Room: Seating up to 100, the Recital Room is a flexible space for more intimate arts performances, seminars and presentations. It has an excellent acoustic, ideal for chamber music, song recital and solo instruments. With captivating views of the school grounds through ceiling-height windows, and easy access to the lower foyer and bar terrace, the Recital Room is a great space for social functions. It also offers a live feed from the Pamoja Hall and can be used as an overspill area for latecomers or additional numbers.

The Sackville Theatre: Also a flexible space, with a wide range of different staging and seating configurations available. The seating capacity is up to 230 depending on stage shape and size. There are two dressing rooms, toilets and disabled facilities (including a lift). The theatre is available for one-off commercial hires, conferences, arts and training events.

The Ordovsky-Tanaevsky Drama Studio: A smaller flexible space seating up to 100. It provides an informal studio setting fully equipped with sound and lighting support, suitable for smaller/workshop theatre and as a rehearsal space.

Additional Spaces:  A generous Lower Foyer and bar area, with seating and opening onto a terrace, looking towards Knole Park, allows for very pleasant pre-theatre/concert socialising and interval refreshment.

This public piazza also offers a relaxed social space for clients using the Recital Room for seminars, conferences and small business functions. There is also a light, airy gallery in the upper foyer, offering white wall space suited to smaller exhibitions of 2D art.

The Space offers 15 spacious individual practice rooms, each with a piano; a multi-use teaching space, a Sibelius computing suite, and a fully-equipped recording studio.
